It’s certainly been a long, hard off season for Team Apex KTM UK getting things in place for the new 2020 season. The Team as a whole had what could only be described as a roller coaster of a season last year with us all experiencing some amazing highs and clinching another MX2 title but unfortunately some very tough, emotional lows. We started the 2019 AMCA Championship with four very talented riders and by mid season we were leading both MX1 and MX2 championships until injury struck time and again leaving us to see out the season with just one rider as our sole representative in the main AMCA Series, along with a couple of successful wild card rides from James Hanscomb and Jacob Randall.

With the Team’s roots firmly seated in the AMCA British Championships we have spent a great deal of time and careful deliberation on the rider selection for our 2020 campaign. It’s so important to us to ensure we have the right riders that can deliver strong, determined performances yet understand and appreciate the support they are receiving from our sponsors, promote our brands in a good positive light and most importantly being down to Earth, enjoy what they are doing and share our passion for this great sport. The one single constant that was ever present last year was a relaxed yet very driven team dynamic that saw everyone involved helping each other out and generally getting ‘stuck in’ for the good of the team. It was such an enjoyable atmosphere that we hope to be able to replicate the camaraderie again this year. With all of this in mind we have decided to bring on board some great up and coming talents that we feel will fit in perfectly and can be guided and nurtured into future champions.

Along with a revamped rider line up we have managed to retain an exceptionally high level of backing again from our major sponsors KTM UK, Bridgestone UK and Madison. We also welcome onboard some new supporters in Off Road Only and Silverback. Everyone’s help and support is genuinely appreciated as we definitely wouldn’t be where we are today without you.

The Team started some 6 years ago with young James Hanscomb whom we are very happy to announce will be staying with us again this year alongside three new additions.

We are very proud to announce the full rider line up for 2020 will be:-

James Hanscomb – AMCA 125 British Championship
Damon Strydom – AMCA 125 British Championship
Henry Williams – AMCA MX2 British Championship
Corey Hockey – AMCA MX1 British Championship
Jacob Randall – MXGB Youth 125 and EMX125 European Championship

There will be full introductions to each of the riders over the next couple of weeks.
