With the British Motocross scene just weeks away from starting, news broke out on Sunday evening, Brad Todd has decided to go it alone in 2023 and start his own team up. This news is quite a shock after being announced in November Brad would ride for the Lexa MX Team in 2023.

Brad posted the below across his social media platforms on Sunday evening:

CHANGE OF PLAN

For 2023 I will be running my own team. This is obviously a big challenge for myself but I do believe with the right people around me I can get the job done!

I did make some massive improvements last year being full time for the first time in my career, finishing 6th in the British championship, put it on the box at a couple of places and even competed in my first GP.

This year I’ll focus on the British Championship and Scottish Championship as my main championships and I’ll fill in the gaps on whatever is affordable at the time. I’ll be putting 100% into my training and riding so I keep improving right through the season.

All this being said I’ve been making 30 to 40 phone calls most days to get everything sorted for the bike, parts and travel… however I still have a long way to go.

If there are any company’s that would like to help out or provide sponsorship it would be a huge help. I have my bike and kit where I can advertise your logo at all events, and tag you on my race reports on all social media platforms! Every bit of help I get now is personal to me and I’ll make it known who is helping throughout the year.

Finally I just want to say a massive THANK YOU to the people who have got things started for me, I could not have got here without you all:
