Following an announcement from the Scottish Government this afternoon. The opening round of the Official Scottish Motocross Championship has been postponed and will now switch it to the final round of the 2021 season in October. Read the update from the organisers (ScotMX) below:

Sorry guys but following Nicola Sturgeon’s announcement today we can now confirm that we will not be able to run the First Round of our 2021 Scottish Motocross Championship Powered by Milwaukee , scheduled for 27/28th March up at Tain .We will POSTPONE this event and switch it to become the Final Round of the 2021 season (as we did in 2019) , pencilled for the date of 9/10th October again back at the popular sandy Tain track .So going forward , fingers crossed we will now aim for the First Round of ScotMX 2021 being held at Duns on April 24/25th if the easing of these restrictions allow us !This news will likely come as much a disappointment to you as it has for us given the efforts made towards the new season and numbers across all classes looking busier than ever . I’m sure you’ll understand these decisions are outwith our control . We continue to look forward to a great return to racing with everyomne as soon as possible.

Many thanks , ScotMX
