Crescent Yamaha team rider Martin Barr had a disappointing day at the second round of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship at Lyng with getting stuck behind riders and unable to get the pace with the leading pack.

Following two disappointing motos as explained below Martin ended the weekend in 6th position which in turn put him into 6th position within the British Championship.

We caught up with Martin after the days racing on Sunday to see what he had to say

“Lyng was a disappointing and very frustrating day, with only average starts and the track being very one lined it proved very hard to pass. Both races I got stuck behind riders which let the leading pack pull away. I managed a 5th and 6th for 6th overall at the end of the day. I have got a couple of little things to work on before the next round at Canada Heights where I will be aiming for a podium finish.”
