The HydroGarden Weston Beach race, which takes place on October 19-21, is expected to be one of the biggest ever in 2018, as the entry for the solo race that takes place on the Sunday of the race weekend is already half full!

To put this into perspective the 2017 adult solo race had over a staggering 830 riders and while we are only just coming to end of the second month of 2018, the entries have already kicked over the halfway mark, which will ensure the event will be a huge spectacular this year.

Looking across the board at all classes it’s expected be an exceptional weekend in Weston-Super-Mare where riders will take on the 65cc, 85cc, 125/250, Sidecars, Quad and Solo classes. The RHL Activities team is well underway with the planning of the event and are working hard to create the magic from last year and more. Keep an eye out over the coming weeks and months for what’s planned for this year.

“Being at this level of entries at this stage of the year is fantastic. It goes to show the beach race is growing year on year and its great to have such large support from riders and spectators. We are currently making a number of changes to the event to improve it for the future and for the riders,” commented Director of RHL Activities, Gareth Hockey.

“This year we have a number of exciting things to look forward to, which will be announced in the coming months with some old and new stars to announce their attendance at the biggest motorsport event in the UK.”
