As if the return of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship to the state of Florida wasn’t enough, fans at WW Ranch Motocross Park were treated to a special showcase of the beloved 2-stroke motorcycle just prior to the start of the motos at the US Assure Florida National. The 125cc All Star Series enjoyed its fifth race of the season alongside the world’s fastest riders, with a field of 25 competitors ready to tackle American motocross’ newest sand track.

The battle for the win came down to up and coming Georgia amateur Gage Linville and Kentuckian former pro, Luke Vonlinger. It proved to be a great battle for the fans, who couldn’t get enough of the iconic buzz of these 2-stroke machines. In the end, Linville prevailed to take the win aboard his KTM, with Vonlinger following in second aboard a Husqvarna. The final spot on the podium went to veteran California rider Brandon Scharer, who finished 18th in last years 450 Class standings.
