Following the high speed first corner crash at Blaxhall for the fourth round of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship we have heard the latest from Lewis Tombs who was also involved in the crash at the start of the first MX1 race on Sunday.

Lewis has confirmed that in fact he has broken his hand and hopes to be back on the bike soon.

Lewis Tombs posted on Social Media:

“Sooo gutted about yesterday after having a good start to the year. A horrible and frightening crash in the first corner ended in a broken hand, but I’m thankful it wasn’t worse for us all involved. Wish @ryanhoughton119 all the best with his recovery.
Thankyou to @hondaracingmx for all there hard work, hopefully back on the bike soon”
