KTM are pleased to announce that the full line-up of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing and offroad racing teams will continue to count on the excellence of Hinson Clutch Components in 2018. From the dirt of American trails, Supercross stadiums, Enduro obstacles and Grand Prix tracks all of the Austrian manufacturer’s SX, SX-F, EXC and EXC-F racing technology will benefit from Hinson’s R&D and expertise as the association stretches into a twelfth year.

2018 has already started on a bright note. KTM clinched their 17th consecutive success at the Rally Dakar and won the opening round of the AMA Supercross series in both 450 SX and 250 SX classes.

With a partnership forged initially in the US in 2003, which evolved into an international relationship from 2007, the bond between KTM and Hinson has led to a prolificacy of results and augmentation of profile on a global scale. Wayne Hinson founded the American firm in 1992 and their progress and efficiency with clutch materials and the demands of top level motorsport saw the Hinson name flourish in racing circles. Through the union with KTM, Hinson were soon part of multiple FIM World Championship title winning efforts, Rally and Enduro glory as well as various successful AMA campaigns across the board.

“Usually success is about the small details and the extra percentage you can find to make the difference on the track, and teaming up with people and companies like Hinson – with all their passion for motorcycle racing – is a great example of that,” commented KTM Motorsport Director Pit Beirer. “We’ve been together and enjoying each other’s strong points and memorable moments for well-over ten years now and it’s fantastic that we’ll continue again in 2018.”

“We love the spirit that KTM has to look forward and make great things happen. Everyone at KTM is so passionate and success-driven and it’s fun to be part of a team like that. We are the team’s high-performance clutch supplier, so we work directly with the racing department to develop our product to ensure the riders have the very best clutches in the world to compete in some of the toughest and most intense conditions. We’re looking forward to another successful season throughout all of the offroad disciplines with KTM,” said Hinson Clutch Components Director of Sales & Marketing, Ron Hinson.
