The promo team for VMXdN Foxhill is thrilled to announce the return of the USA squad to defend their number one victory plate from 2022.
Team manager is former factory Yamaha USA rider, Doug Dubach. Doug will be keeping a keen eye on the points and will be on hand for the weekend.
The team consisting of Ryan Villopoto, Mike Brown, & Zach Osborne, will return to the iconic circuit on August 24-28th.
With the USA team winning the victory spot at the inaugural event they are issued race numbers 1,2 & 3.
Ryan Villopoto is a 9x AMA champion & multi-time Team USA MXDN rider. If you want to see what this guy is capable of, google budscreek MXDN, his performance on a pro circuit KXF 250 was legendary. RV is one of the sport’s greatest riders. He is now contracted to Yamaha as a brand ambassador. He has already been getting race ready for this year’s event. RV will ride a Pro Circuit tuned 2002 Yamaha YZ 250 built by DocWob. John Giffard will be on the spanners.
Mike Brown is an AMA champion and a well-known journeyman racer, having crafted his art worldwide. At this year’s event, he will be 51 years old, and anyone who has witnessed “brownie” on the gas will attest to how unreal it is. Mike is a born racer. DocWob is building a Pro Circuit tuned Kawasaki KX 250 for Mike to race, a replica of his championship-winning Pro-Circuit KX 125. Mike will have his regular mechanic Tony Neary on the spanners.
A special treat for fans, Mike’s original championship-winning Pro-Circuit KX125 will be displayed on the Briggs Commercials stand at the event.
Zach Osborne is a 4x AMA National MX, SX champion, & multi-time Team USA Nations rider. Zach is contracted to Yamaha & races in the GNCC series. He will have riding time banked before he arrives in August. He is no stranger to the UK, as he raced for the Dixon Yamaha squad. Zach will be racing a 2002 Yamaha YZ 250 built by DocWob, and his 2022 mechanic Sonny Mee will be on the spanners. Zach will be running-the big number 1.
