Round 5 of the 2018 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship takes place this Saturday at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in northern California’s Bay Area, and the Monster Energy/Knich/Yamaha Factory Racing Team’s Cooper Webb (#2) and Justin Barcia (#51) are ready to race with strength and honor aboard their Yamaha YZ450F machines.

Justin is just nine points out of the Championship lead, and he’s looking to notch his first Main Event victory of the season after reaching the podium in three out of the four rounds thus far. Cooper is as motivated as he’s ever been, and he’s ready to turn his season around and get on the box in Oakland.

“Oakland should be good,” commented Cooper. “I got my first career 450SX podium at Oakland last year, and the dirt is always awesome up there. I really enjoy racing in the Bay Area, and this weekend should be no different. We made some progress last weekend in the Main Event, and I’m looking forward to carrying that momentum into this weekend!”

Justin said, “I’m definitely ready for Oakland. I always enjoy the atmosphere at that race, with all the NorCal fans excited and cheering us on. I’m looking for my first win of the season, and there would be no better place to get it than the Bay Area!”
