Youthstream is glad to announce that 6D Helmets, one of the leading companies in the motorcycle and bicycle head protection industry, is starting a partnership with MXGP.
2018 is a very important year for 6D Helmets with the global introduction of the all new ATR-2 helmet that adopts the evolved version of the company’s signature Omni-Directional Suspension System.
Heavily influenced by 6D’s award winning work completed inside the NFL’s Head Health Challenge III, the ATR-2 incorporates new high-tech materials, engineering expertise and advanced ODS system to once again raise the bar in safety.
6D Helmets will begin its involvement in the FIM Motocross World Championships by targeting the European based rounds of the series which cover a key area of its fast growing international market.
Youthstreams USA Sergio Marini: “6D Helmets has made strides in a time frame of just five years in the market. In 2013 they introduced for the first time such an innovative technology to the motocross industry. It is great to have them joining the MXGP for the launch of the evolution of the ODS system.”
Co-founder and CEO of 6D Helmets Bob Weber: ”We’re thrilled to be working with Youthstream and having a presence on-site at the GP’s this year. Our brand has experienced rapid growth throughout the world and we are working hard to improve our supply chain throughout Europe and other territories. This is absolutely our customer base, the racing community and those riders looking for improved safety and security.”
