Salop Motor Club are now in a position to release the date of the 26th February for the 2023 Ashbrook – Hawkstone International. The organisers waited for the final GP calendar to be released and are looking forward to another successful event. SMC are also delighted to announce they have retained ASHBROOK – https://www.ashbrookplant.co.uk/ as a title sponsor.
The team are really looking forward to the event in 2023, once again it is set to draw in a huge crowd and some great riders with a few changes to the schedule.
In 2023 we will mix 20 of the best MX1 riders with 20 of the best MX2 riders, each Championship will be scored individually, and points and prizes awarded per class. The Super Final will also be mixed with the MX2 riders having a 3 – 4 second advantage like in previous years with the results decided as they cross the line. The support classes will be an adult mixed class and an EMX125 class.
It is hoped several GP stars will attend the event with names being announced over the coming months. Entries will open soon for the MX1 and MX2 (invitation only) classes and for 2023 we have the Adult Support race and the EMX125 class again please contact Gary Ford on ford542@btinternet.com

The Hawkstone International will give the fans an opportunity to some of the World’s best riders in the UK in 2023. This is a prime opportunity to see new teams, new riders and some of the best racers in the World battle against each other at one of the most famous MX circuits. The enormous turnout of spectators and together with all the top teams preparing for their long seasons ahead, make the now traditional season opener in the UK a must on anyone’s calendar.
