Gulf Race Fuels are to be used in all the Crendon Fastrack Honda motocross team’s bikes again for the 2023 season. The Crendon Fastrack Honda squad will use Gulf Racing 102 in the Honda CRF450R’s of Callum Green, Conrad Mewse and Josh Gilbert in the MX1 class, and Charlie Heyman Honda CRF250R in MX2.
Gulf Racing 102 is an unleaded, oxygenated fuel that gives a competitive advantage against standard unleaded fuels, giving a consistent and reliable increase in performance and of course is fully legal for racing.
Team owner Dave Thorpe said: “The team have tested the Gulf Racing 102 fuel on our bikes on the dyno and on the track and we have seen an instant improvement in performance. It’s amazing that such a simple change to a proven race fuel like the Gulf Racing 102 can give such fantastic results.
“So it really is a perfect link-up between the Crendon Fastrack Honda team and Gulf Race Fuels – a company with a huge history in motorsport. And it’s fitting that Gulf Race Fuels also is a major backer of the ACU British motocross championship, which is our No.1 priority this year.”
Marc Wesler, Director of Sales at Gulf Racing Fuels, said: “Working with champions and the most recognisable names in motorsport has been the theme at Gulf since the beginning. So, when the opportunity presented itself to work with David and his team, it was certainly something we wanted to do.
Their success, as past champions, certainly does not go unnoticed in the industry. Our vision has always been to fuel victories through tireless effort and determination to be the best, that makes partnering with Crendon Fastrack Honda a great fit.”
