We are saddened to announce that Mel Pocock has withdrawn from competing at VMXdN Foxhill 2024 due to his wrist injury taking longer to recover. Words: VMXdN
Mel was part of the winning team in 2023 and is due to line up again for Team GB in 2024. He will still be at the event, as will the Pocock family, as Mel’s 3 brothers take to the line. No doubt, he will be throwing his support behind Team GB and winding Tommy up across the weekend.
We wish Mel all the best with his recovery and hope to see him race fit soon.
News of Team GB’s replacement rider has now arrived, as Elliott Banks-Browne is switching teams and taking up the reins to join Tommy Searle and Brad Anderson on Team GB.
After an outstanding ride, including a moto win at VMXdN Foxhill 2024, EBB, backed up by his love of two strokes and impressive MX resume, is the perfect fit to join Team GB.
We know you will get behind the team, as they take to the track to defend Team GB’s 2023 victory!
