With the second round of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship days away from heading into Cadders Hill, Lyng.
We caught up with current red plate holder for the MXY2 Youth Class Lewis Hall as he continues his battle for those all important points this weekend to remain the MXY2 Youth current Champion.
Here’s what Lewis had to say when we spoke to him earlier.
Round 1 at Culham saw you take the overall from the MXY2 Youth Class, how was the day for you and how did you feel about the track?
“The day was unreal, I couldn’t have asked for a better result. I came in with top 10 expectations, but after the first race I knew I had the speed to run up front. I just put in consistent laps and managed to grab the overall. I absolutely loved the track! Nice and rough like we have been practicing in winter.”
Looking to Lyng this weekend for Round 2 of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship, how do you feel and what’s your thoughts on the circuit?
“Yeah, Lyng is this weekend and I’m so excited for it! The track looks nice and sandy, which I love so hopefully I can get some good results.”

With only a couple of points between you and Keenan heading into this weekend, do you think you can you keep the red plate?
“Keenan and I are only a couple points apart heading into Lyng, and he’s ripping at the minute so I’ll just give it my all and try and keep the red plate!”
Finally do you have anything you wish to say?
“Just want to say a big thanks to everyone who helps me out!”
