After a horrible crash at the MXGP of Lommel, Adam Sterry is on his way back to the UK and straight to hospital for skin graft. If you’ve ever suffered an exhaust burn then you know what Adam is going through, lets hope it all goes well and we see Adam back on his bike when 100% ready to go.
Adam explains what happened:
“Scariest experience of my life today 2nd Moto! Had just a small crash but my head got stuck in the back wheel between the exhaust and for two minutes I couldn’t move while my arm and chin were burning on the exhaust. 3rd degree burns so on my way home for a skin graft. Shouldn’t be too long, we’ll be back.
Massive massive thanks to the track side marshals for getting me out as without them it could have been much worse! Also my @officialleatt and @shoeihelmetsusa really did save me from serious injury. Wondering when I’m going to get some luck this year it’s been testing for sure.”
