RHL Activities is pleased to announce that Apico Factory Racing will once again support the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race, which takes place on 13-15 October 2017 in Weston-Super-Mare, and for the third year running will bring back the Apico Hydration Station with Ice Valley Water in aid of the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.
Apico Factory Racing is the sole distributor for many leading off-road brands, and is committed providing the very best quality products to riders in the UK. The company distributes some of the premier brands in off-road including ANSR, Arai, Forma, GET, Hinson, Leatt, Pro Taper and many other well-known names. These products are available to British customers along with the company’s own Apico Factory Racing parts that have been developed with quality in mind.
The company’s passionate approach and love for dirt bikes is synonymous with that of RHL Activities, making this an important and strong partnership for the biggest, toughest and most bonkers off-road event in the UK, the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race. Competitors at the event will receive products from Apico Factory Racing in this year’s goody bag, while experts in brands distributed by Apico Factory Racing will be on hand at the event this year to talk to race-goers and showcase a range of products.
In addition, the Apico Factory Racing Husqvarna Team will be competing at the event with British Motocross Championship regulars Matt Burrows and Jamie Law, who will certainly be looking for strong results in the ultra-grueling three-hour solo race. Youth racer for the team Jack Lindsay, who is currently recovering from injury, will hopefully compete in the Big Wheel 85cc category.
Apico Factory Racing, in conjunction with Ice Valley Water will be raising money for a third successive year for the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity at the Apico Hydration Station. Competitors and visitors to the event can come along and give a donation over the weekend for a bottle of Ice Valley Water with the proceeds going to GWAAC.
“We’re looking forward to the third year at Weston Beach Race with Ice Valley Water and the Apico Hydration Station. It’s such a great event with a huge turnout, an opportunity not to be missed. We’ll be on the promenade again offering bottles of water from Ice Valley for a donation to the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity. Unfortunately Matt Moffatt, one of our supported riders and longtime competitor at Weston Beach Race, won’t be able to take part this year after a massive crash a few weeks ago. The Air Ambulance Service played a vital role in getting Matt to hospital quickly, this certainly helped him and we’re now awaiting Matt to make a recovery from his injuries. It just goes to show how important it is, the job the Air Ambulance do, and a way for us to give back and say thank you on behalf of the industry,” said Scott Cannon, Apico Factory Racing Marketing Manager.
“It’s great to be able to announce that Apico Factory Racing will be partnering us at the HydroGarden Weston Beach Race once again this year. As a key distributor of some of the best brands in off-road in the UK and with a long history within the sport, our relationship with Apico Factory Racing is incredibly important – and one we’re proud of. It’s great that the knowledgeable staff from Apico Factory Racing and associated brands will be on-hand at the event to discuss their products with race-goers, which of course is of real mutual benefit, as well as the Apico Hydration Station for charity with Ice Valley Water. The approach and passion from both RHL Activities and Apico Factory Racing is synonymous, and we’re looking forward to the event later in the year,” said Director of RHL Activities, Gareth Hockey.
