With just five days to go until the next round of the Revo ACU British Motocross Championship Fuelled by Gulf Race Fuels at Canada Heights.
Following a positive day at Lyng just the other week, we caught up with Verde Substance KTM’s Brad Anderson to recap on Lyng and look ahead to this Sunday.
“I look forward to lyng as it was where I had my first overall win. It was good to get the holeshot on the 2 stroke. I was holding 2nd unit I hit neutral coming out the bomb hole and had big crash. I got back up and it took me some laps to get my rhythm back but was happy with my speed.”
“Canada Heights is a track I’ve been going to for years it’s nice that they change it every couple years and prepare it well. Yes I am currently in 10th in Championship, not where I was wanting to be at but hopefully get head down and get some good result to move me up the ladder. It be nice to finish in the top 5 at the end of the season and my plans for the weekend is get good starts and try hang in the top 5 in both moto’s.”
We also quizzed Brad on his training preparing for the event.
“My training between events is rest day Monday, cycle Tuesday, ride Wednesday, gym Thursday, run Friday and then Saturday it’s off to the races.”
