This weekend will see the Judd KTM British Youth National Championship and Steve Benton Transport British Under 21 Championship head to Culham in Oxfordshire for the second stop of the 2018 season.

Culham MX Park is set on the grassy banks of the River Thames just outside of Abingdon. The circuit has played host to countless national events including the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship and a British Grand Prix in the past. Over the years the track has seen many changes, however it still retains its old school foundations, using the natural contours of the steep Thameside banking to its full effect.

With a strong opening round at Preston Docks last month where we saw some first class racing and battles throughout the classes, RHL Activities, the promoters of the official British Youth and Under 21 Championships are looking forward to the second round this weekend at Culham.

The Championship last visited Culham back in 2017, where we saw some outstanding racing from the championship riders and local wildcard riders. It’s expected the forthcoming weekend will not disappoint, with the thrills and spills from the British motocross young guns – the fastest juniors in the country.

Gareth Hockey, Director of RHL Activities
“As we head to Culham this week with the lorries to set up for the second round, the team and myself can’t wait for the racing to get underway once again following an outstanding opener to the series at Preston. We saw some good racing from all riders, and as they settle into the championship it will be interesting to see those who are making progress. Culham is a special track, and one where I look forward to seeing the future riders of the sport battle it out again. The track is popular with the riders, and has a lot of history behind it, which is important, as it plays an important role in the development of the youngsters in the British Championship.”

If you would like to see the UK’s elite Youth and Under 21 riders battle it out at Culham, then why not pop along for the weekend to see them in action. For more information please head over to www.rhlactivities.com
