Pro Circuit Kawasaki 250 star Cameron McAdoo has provided an encouraging update on his recovery following surgery to repair his torn ACL. In a post shared today, McAdoo outlined the progress he’s made and the challenges he’s faced during the rehabilitation process. Words: Live MX Editor
“Wanted to jump on and give everyone an update on my progress with the knee. Things have been going well and moving forward as planned with the recovery. I still have a couple of months until the doctors will release me to be back on the motorcycle. This one has been a bit longer recovery due to it being my second time having this ACL worked on,” he stated.
Although his recovery is taking longer than hoped, McAdoo remains determined and committed, as he’s been working hard off the bike by cycling consistently, undergoing regular physical therapy and receiving treatment at Range Sports Therapy.
“I am missing being on the bike and getting to go race on the weekends more than anything right now, but as I know in due time I will get that opportunity. As always, I appreciate everyone’s support through it all,” McAdoo added.
With him set to be out for a while longer yet, expect another update soon on his condition in his quest to be back on the gate sooner rather than later.
