We wake this morning to hear the sad news that MX2 rider Jamie Carpenter will now sit out the remaining rounds of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship due to an injury sub stained.

Jamie is currently laying 23rd in the British Championship for the Revo Husqvarna team.

Jamie commented on social media.

“Unfortunately the 2017 season has come to a very early end for me as it’s just been confirmed that I’ve snapped my ACL and damaged my MCL. I will need surgery but I will have to wait for the third degree burn that I sustained at the same time to heal first. I felt very happy at the last round of the MAXXIS British Championship at Lyng after qualifying 11th and felt I was in a good position to break into the top 10.
I would like to thank Mark and Sam at REVO Husqvarna, my mechanic Gary, my Dad and all of my sponsors. Time for me now to rest up, heal up and then start preparation for 2018. I feel very fortunate to have the right people around me who I know I can rely on to help me recover from this and come back even stronger.”

We wish Jamie a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him racing in 2018.
