After too many injuries in too short a space of time it appears that Elliott Banks-Browne could finally be about to go into the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship supported by Pro Clean fighting fit on a bike he’s already familiar with.

Since moving into the MX1 class in 2014 after back-to-back Maxxis MX2 crowns, EBB has failed to make an impact on a 450 with team and machinery changes and a catalogue of injuries combining to blunt his challenge.

However, he ended 2017 healthy and after a solid winter he goes into his second year on a Geartec Husqvarna full of optimism.

“Everything’s been going good,” he said. “I’ve got a great bike which is carrying on from last year so going into the outdoors I’m confident with the Husqvarna and the set-up I’ve got around me.”

Other commitments have delayed his outdoor testing but he’s confident when the gate drops at Lyng for the opening round on March 11 he’ll be fully prepared.

“I haven’t been doing a great deal of outdoor riding recently but I think it will be all right. Hopefully I’ll be going abroad in the next few weeks.”
