Hitachi Fuelled by Milwaukee’s rookie rider Ethan Lane has sustained a fractured collarbone whilst training in Florida on his KTM 125 SX.
Lane, who was due to make his debut this weekend in the EMX 125 Championship at Matterley Basin, has undergone surgery and the collarbone has been plated. The Brit is making a positive recovery and is expected to be back on the bike shortly.
With two weeks until the first round of the British Youth Motocross Championship, the team are hopeful that this extra time will allow him to fully recover so he can make his British Championship debut in the MXY2 class on Sunday 15th March at Little Silver in Devon.

“Just a few days after attending the 2020 Team photoshoot, Ethan Lane unfortunately broke his collarbone in Florida during winter testing. This is a setback for his season preparations and is his first “real” injury in motocross. He has had the collarbone plated, but he will not return to racing until he is fully fit. Ethan is still hopeful of making the start line at the first round of the BYMX2 British Motocross Championship at Little Silver on Sunday 15th March”
