After awkwardly dabbing his foot in qualifying at the Tampa round of AMA Supercross, it was confirmed that Eli Tomac bruised his calf. While the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing ace immediately pulled off the track and many feared the worst, it was been hugely positive to see him back out racing in the night show.

“It was a tough day in Tampa. I caught my leg underneath the foot peg on a jump during qualifying, and sprained the top of my ankle and bruised my lower leg. I’m going to do everything possible to get back on the line in Detroit,” Tomac explained.
Meanwhile, in the case of Hunter Lawrence, he missed the rest of the night, as reported the TV broadcast, following a nasty crash in the heat, where he slammed his head pretty hard, which hay have resulted in a concussion. No further news has been released on his status.
