Following his untimely leg injury, where he dabbed his foot early in the third main event at the Glendale round of AMA Supercross, Jett Lawrence’s HRC team confirmed during the post-race press conference that he jammed his knee, which gave him a scare, and that he’s off to get an MRI to see the severity of the injury.

Jett then added this through his social media post: “Morning guys, super bummed how last night ended, just dabbed my leg and felt a lot of pain in my knee, but I’m getting an MRI tomorrow morning so hopefully we will know more by the end of tomorrow. A big thank you to the team and everyone. The team has been working really hard to get this bike better. Big thank you to everyone for their texts – much love to my friends, family and fans. Hopefully my knee is good enough to race next weekend in Tampa, but thank you all and have a good Sunday people.”

Having secured a pair of seconds in the first two races, Lawrence was still able to claim eighth overall, a result that leaves him just 13 points back from championship leader Chase Sexton.
