Wanting to push through the pain barrier, the Japanese ace got his fingers taped and popped on a hand guard to bravely battle on in his search to salvage points.

The winner of the season opener at Anaheim deserved immense credit for fighting on, with him claiming seventh in the heat before recording a valiant seventh in the main event.

“No words really, gotta keep the ball rolling, if not I would regret it. Thank you team for making the adjustments needed to get through for the night, we’ll be a little more healthy next weekend,” he posted.

The result leaves him just seven points behind championship leader Julien Beaumer and still right in the 250SX West title hunt.
