Following his nasty crash in the whoops while leading in the first 250 race at the Arlington Triple Crown round of AMA Supercross, the broadcast mentioned that Jordon Smith is suspected to have sustained rib injuries and has been taken to the hospital for evaluation.
UPDATE FROM SMITH
Smith has now confirmed the extent of his injuries, stating: “Hey guys, obviously really bummed with going down so hard like that. Was feeling good and felt good all the way through. I’m in the hospital right now. Unfortunately I sustained a punctured lung and possibly some broken ribs. All good we will heal up and be back as soon as possible.”
