
Ken Roczen confirmed he experienced a minor setback ahead of the Birmingham round of Monster Energy AMA Supercross, as a crash in training led to an AC separation, which worsened during qualification at Birmingham’s Protective Stadium.
The Progressive Insurance Ecstar Suzuki star valiantly battled on to record a solid fifth overall in the Birmingham Triple Crown to secure some valuable points.
Meanwhile, in the case of Max Anstie, VitaMX’s Lewis Phillips broke the news that the Star Racing ace broke his fibula in the first timed qualification session in Birmingham.
“Unfortunately, Max Anstie will be sidelined from tonight’s Birmingham Supercross with a broken leg from a crash in qualifying. He will undergo further evaluation with an update to follow at a later date,” read a statement from Yamaha Motor USA.
