This weekend the World’s Cleanest Dirt Race will take place in Sweden with the CAKE World’s race.
CAKE world’s race, a unique motorbike race hosting some of the world’s best motorcycle riders in a 4×4 Round Robin show-down at Gotland, Sweden. With both female and male motorbike professionals riding the same electric motorbike model – the CAKE Kalk OR Race – and with an ultimate purpose of bringing back motorcycle racing to the masses, while minimizing noise, disturbance and pollution, the CAKE world’s race will be a race like no other.
A total of 16 pro riders from all corners of the world, both male and female professionals, are set for the big race. With extensive backgrounds in disciplines like Enduro Motocross, Supercross, Downhill Mountain biking among others, our riders make up an exciting mix of contestants rarely seen in a race of this magnitude. The CAKE World’s race will be a tournament style competition in a Round Robin 4Cross format, with 4 riders per heat racing each other. This allows every rider in the preliminary phase to face all their competitors. Points are awarded in each heat, 4 points for first position, 3 points for second position and so on. After both semi-finals and finals have been completed, all points are counted, and a winner is announced – may the best man or woman win!
