How was the opening round of the AMCA Championship for you?
“The opening round at Boraston was a solid day for me, the original plan was to race a different championship but after all that’s happened we decided to head back to the AMCA and keep racing, I felt very comfortable and enjoyed the whole weekend with the family.“
The track was a wet one but provided some great racing. What was your thoughts?
“I really enjoyed it, I thought the track was going to be a lot wetter due to the weather we had but It turned out perfect as they ripped it deep which made it very technical and rutty.“
Looking ahead to this weekend at long lane what’s your plan and goal for the second round?
“To be honest there’s never really a plan I always take the weekend as it comes and enjoy it, as always I will be putting 110% effort In and it would be good to take the overall again.“
What’s your thoughts on long lane?
“Long Lane is a track that has very good memories for me, the circuit is always prepped well and the terrain suites me so I am looking forward to it.”
Can you give us a bit of info on what training and prep you do before each round to get you race ready?
“The week before each round I normally start it by getting my fitness in then slowing it down towards the end so that it keeps my energy levels higher on the day, I also try to get out on the bike for a good loosen up aswell.“
