Buildbase Honda Racing Josh Gilbert had a strong day at Lyng for the second round of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship after taking pole in qualifying and two strong motos.
“Lyng was a really good day for me, there was a lot of positives to take away from the weekend. The day started well with going pole in qualifying which i’ve not done before in the British Championship. In moto one I got the holeshot and gapped the field by about 10 seconds but then I just lost my rhythm a bit and tightened up so ended the moto in second. Moto two I ended up 4th but I as actually happier because my riding was a lot more relaxed and had a great battle between the top 5.”
