Having sustained the injury during the second 250MX qualifying session at High Point Pro Motocross after a crash, the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing ace valiantly pushed through to post 20-15 moto scores to earn 18th overall in what was only his second professional race Stateside.

“Surgery done. Back home now, doc said I should only be off for six weeks. See you back at the races very soon,” posted Minear.

Also impressing immensely this season by virtue of his 1-1 Hangtown in the SMX Next Motocross Combine to accompany his 16th and 18th overall finishes in his first two pro events, he’s hoping to return to action in time for the Las Vegas SMX Next finale on September 20.
