Ahead of the final FIM Motocross World Championship Grand Prix races at the MXGP of Città di Mantova, Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing MX2 Team Manager Marnicq Bervoets announced that after ten seasons, and after winning the MX2 World Title with Maxime Renaux, he is ending his successful career as a team manager
For years, Marnicq has led the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Team in which the Belgian super talent Jago Geerts has play an important role. In his position as team manager, Marnicq worked closely with Geerts, especially in the last four years.
In the future, Bervoets aims to focus on the career of his twelve-year-old son Jarne, who is also a passionate motocross rider.
