Martin Barr had a strong days racing at his home track of Desertmartin on Sunday 30th June. Martin ended the weekend in fourth, just missing a podium finish by three points.
We caught up with Crescent Yamaha rider following the days racing to see how he felt about his day.
“Desertmartin went not to bad. Had P5 in qualifying which set me up for the day. Race one I finished P3 and race two I took P4 to give me fourth overall on the day. Obviously I am really disappointed to miss out on the podium but we will keep working and pushing forward in the second part of the season. Would like to say a big thanks to my Dad and Crescent Yamaha for their hard work and also to all the local crowd who came out in force to support all the home riders. It was a brilliant atmosphere the whole way around the track.”
