MRT KTM is pleased to announce that in 2022 season will line up with Michele Cervellin. The Italian rider will take part to the FIM World Motocross Championship in the MXGP class riding the KTM SX-F 450 from the MRT Team.

After two difficult years due to a bad injuries at the wrist Michele, that is one of the most talented young Italian riders, is ready for the comeback and to take many solid results in the World Championship.

“Receiving the call of the MRT KTM was a pleasure and an honour for me; this made me feel comfortable about my future as a rider, even after this bad injury I had. Now I’m ready to be back at the start gate with all my effort; recently I underwent a wrist surgery that should have solved all the issues I faced in the last year. I really want to thank the MRT KTM Team for the opportunity and all the supporters, the sponsors now I’m ready for the season and I can’t wait for some good results; the fact that MRT KTM Team finish in the Top 10 of the MXGP class last season give me much motivation for a solid 2022 season”.

Michele Cervellin, born in Valdagno, Vicenza (ITALY) the 5th July 1996. After two Italian Minicross titles, Michele, jumped on the big bikes where he won two Italian Title Prestige and two Internazionali d’Italia. From 2017 to 2019 he has been the best Italian rider in the FIM World Motocross Championship MX2 class with a strong 7th overall position in 2018 as his best result. In 2020 Michele switched to the MXGP class where and got a 20th overall at the end of the Championship even after missing many races due to an injury. After all those results, Michele, has also been part of the Team Italy at the FIM Motocross of Nations and he’s part of the Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Oro.
