The Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in Ernée proved to be the backdrop for several significant announcements, with one of the most notable being Infront Moto Racing’s announcement of a three-year contract extension for the iconic track of Lommel which will continue to host the MXGP of Flanders.
Lommel, situated at the heart of the motocross world and home to many teams, serves as a pivotal venue and similar to a home Grand Prix for most. Given the impressive track enhancements and innovations witnessed this season, the next three years promise a bright and thrilling future for Belgian and motocross fans worldwide.
Infront Moto Racing CEO David Luongo, alongside FIM/CMS Director Antonio Alia Portela took the stage to warmly welcome the MXGP of Flanders Organisers Johan Boonen, Ann Plas, and Jo de Munck, making this exciting announcement official. The guarantee of hosting a Grand Prix on the world’s most challenging sand track from 2024 to 2026 is indeed a significant announcement.
