It was an actioned packed day of racing at Mantova for the MXGP of Lombardia (Round 9 of the FIM Motocross World Championship) where we saw some very close battles, silly riding mistakes and the one big crash by Par Homes RFX Husqvarna’s Evgeny Bobryshev.
That wasn’t all though as shortly after the podium ceremony penalties were given to a number of riders for jumping on waved yellows during the second MXGP race.
Here is a breakdown of the result changes:
- Jorge Prado moved from 2nd to 4th
- Romain Febrve moved from 3rd to 5th
- Gauiter Paulin moved from 4th to 6th
This meant Jeremy Seewer moved up to 3rd for the moto and gave him the overall for the weekend. GASGAS’s Glenn Coldenhoff moved up to 2nd and Jorge Prado moved down to third on the podium.
