We at Live Motocross recently tested the new 2023 Husqvarna four stroke range and thought it was the perfect opportunity to put the Raven AIR Motocross kit through its paces for review. I was excited to test the Raven motocross kit due to the brands very affordable price range and was keen to see if the quality was obtained through the low prices. The item description reads like this:

“From your local MX competition and all the way to MXGP – Raven Air provides all the confidence you need to grab the opportunities that might arise in front of you. The stretchy and lightweight material makes the difference when you push yourself and your machine to the limits. Expect the subtle design to be admired by the rest of the grid when it’s time to line up.” – 24MX.com

My Thoughts

Before testing the kit, I was concerned that a brand offering a kit at such an affordable price would lack in quality, however I was pleasantly surprised after throwing it on and using it out on track. There’s a famous saying, “If you look good, you feel good”, and I definitely felt good due to the clean cut looks this kit provides. The athletic fit gave the slim aesthetic most riders want these days without the extra skin-tight effect you tend to see in some kits on the market. I was comfortable whilst riding and the leather knee patches provided great grip against the bike. I also felt a good test would be to give the kit a wash in order to see whether the leather knee patches went hard like they do on some other kits and to see if the jersey shrank and I’m pleased to say neither of these problems occurred. The ratchet closure offered great adjustability for the perfect fit whilst also providing the strength needed for the pants not to pull down whilst riding. I found the jersey was very breathable and the moisture repellent material worked well in relieving the sweat caused by riding in hot summer conditions. Overall, I really do rate this product and commend Raven for producing a quality product at such affordable prices.
