The news has broken, following a conversation with Mark Yates last night (Monday 18th December). The Revo GASGAS Racing Team will not be running in 2024 due to the expected finance not materialising after Mark Mackenzie, the father of Ethan Lane being appointed co-owner and the one who would bring the finance to the team.
This left the team no option but to close its doors for the 2024 season after both Sam and Mark Yates worked tirelessly to put something together but wasn’t possible with the season just around the corner.
This leaves Brian Bogers, Ethan Lane and Billy Askew without rides. We are hearing rumours within the paddock that Billy Askew will join another British Championship team and Brian Bogers will be the Official GASGAS Factory Team test rider but we will bring the official word on this when we receive it.
