Tommy Searle will not compete at Foxhill this weekend for the VMXDN due to Honda UK making the decision that the British Championship final round is more important to win. Read the statement below.
Mel Pocock will replace Tommy Searle on Team Great Britain following yesterday’s evening announcement that Tommy has been withdrawn from competing at VMXdN Foxhill on instruction from Honda UK, as winning the British championship is their priority.
Former GP Rider and British ace Mel will take up the baton alongside fellow teammates Kurt Nicoll and Brad Anderson.
Kury is already back on home soil and putting in the laps in preparation for the weekend where he will compete in the team race and the Evo open over 50’s race.
3 x European champion Anderson is also not content with racing just one race, and you will find him lining up in both the team race and the Evo Open over 30’s race.
For all the Tommy fans, we can confirm that Tommy will still be at the event on Friday, Saturday and Sunday filming his YouTube video and on hand to sign autographs and chat with fans.
