The Bike It MTX Kawasaki rider Wilson Todd surprised many as Canada Heights was his first race back following surgery three weeks ago for arm pump and the Kawasaki rider ended the weekend on the podium with second overall.
This weekend the Bike It MTX Kawasaki rider will compete at the opening round of the FIM Motocross World Championship (MXGP) in Russia so all eyes will be on him to see if the performance wears there.
We caught up with Wilson to see how he felt following Canada Heights.
“Solid weekend for myself, we had no intention to race until about Friday after seeing the doctor. I had some surgery done 3 weeks ago and the weekend was my first day back, so I quite suppressed myself to be competitive when we only went to try get some bike fitness and practice before the gp in Russia next week, hopefully a few solid weeks on the bike and we can come back to race Foxhill a little better then we did this past weekend.”
