Preparations are in full swing across the globe for the fourth annual VMXdN Foxhill – the only nineties motocross festival. Words: VMXdN
In 2025, we see the return of the Dirt Worx team in the Wright Engineering National Team Race. After securing third place on the podium in 2024, they are back and hoping to capitalise with a team that is no stranger to the Valley of Dreams.
Starting with the youngest rider, Ben Mustoe, competing in both the ACU British Championship and the Nora Pro Championship in the MX2 class this season is one to watch, come rain or shine. He qualified fastest in the soggy practice session at the 2024 event. Mustoe went on to pull the holeshot in Race 1, and after heated battles, while jostling for positions inside the top three, he finally crossed the line in second. A small crash in the second moto left him battling through the pack. Mustoe is super keen to get his two-stroke fix at VMXdN 2025, improve on those results, and put the Dirt Worx team on the top step.
Dan Thornhill needs no introduction. The hard-charging racer bagged third overall in the highly competitive Evo Ultra class at the 2024 event and made it to the podium in the Wright Engineering class – a busy weekend indeed! The 2025 season has started off well, showcasing strong performances on the beach in Le Touquet and several top five finishes at the opening rounds of the Bridgestone Masters and Nora Pro championships.
Third, but by no means least, is Josh Coleman, who will line up on his trusty CR 250 for the Dirt Worx team for the third consecutive year. After switching to the four-stroke for the 2025 season, he is looking forward to jumping back on board the two-smoker through the Foxhill Valley. He’s keen, hungry and ready for battle. For him, the event is not to be missed!
Whether you vividly remember the golden era of the 90s and the thrill of the 90s MX scene or were just a twinkle in someone’s eye, the VMXdN Foxhill event is set to transport you back in time like no other! Fans, both young and not-so-young, can immerse themselves in the epic racing and atmosphere that defined a thrilling decade of motocross.
