Grimshaw Claims Blaxhall Season Opener

Sunday 2nd April saw the Woodbridge and DMCC host their first motocross meeting of the season at the Blaxhall circuit in Suffolk with the event being supported by local Commercial Vehicle dealer Orwell Truck and Van. The demanding sand circuit was in great condition as nearly 160 riders competed in the sunshine and bright blue skies. The day started with practice and qualifying sessions to determine the groups for later in the day.

 

Mark Chamberlain Appointed as MXON Team GB Manager

Following the recent resignation of Neil Prince as the MXoN Team Manager, the ACU Motocross Committee would like to thank Neil for his hard work and achievements during the last 5 years in the position. It is never an easy job as Team Manager but Neil has always been professional with the ACU, riders and worked within the constraints of budgets and riders availability to be able to field the strongest team possible to represent Team GB. Unfortunately bad luck has robbed the team and Neil the podium results which they deserved in recent years.

 

Watson & Nicholls Hoping to Continue their dominance at Lyng this weekend

Hitachi KTM UK’s Jake Nicholls and Ben Watson head to Cadders Hill, Lyng, this Sunday (April 9) for round two of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship supported by Pro Clean carrying the MX1 and MX2 red series leaders’ plates.
At a tough opening round at Culham in March, after heavy overnight rain made conditions challenging, both riders remained unbeaten and they’ll be aiming to repeat their performances around the Norfolk circuit.
