With Round 3 of their Championship on Saturday 18th and Round 4 on Sunday 19th June there is a huge opportunity for competitors to take a big advantage over any rivals that may suffer machine problems, or possibly not able to partake in the event for whatever reason.

The battle of the moors fires up again at remote Hurst where the unique National Mintex Trophy Trial will test the stamina and skills of fifty three Class A and B youngsters. For some reason this two lap race against the clock and thirty sections seems to be again an aventure and provides of foretaste of just what the Scott Trial is about. Exactly the same as the Scott Trial. Nathan Stones and his team have spent time locating sections.

Derby Phoenix MCC Report from Cadwell Park

Matt Stevenson (BMW 1000) climbed to the top of the Derby Phoenix club’s 1300cc Four-stroke championship with four top-four finishes in the second round of the series at Cadwell Park. After seven races this season Stevenson now heads Lee Wilson (BMW 1000) by 131 points to 126. Stevenson, the 22-year-old from Ripon, Yorkshire made a good start in the eight-lap first big bike race on Saturday afternoon, holding second place to Lee Wilson (BMW 1000) at the end of the opening lap.
