Red Bull KTM Factory Racing have released an update on Jeffrey Herlings following his crash during free practice this morning. Below is the official word from the team .
Herlings is out of Citta di Faenza GP after free practice crash. The MXGP World Championship leader has been taken to a local hospital for an MRI check on his head and neck. He has movement and initial signs are positive. More news soon.
Update 09.45am (UK Time)
Jeffrey Herlings has been taken to the local hospital for a check up and x-rays following a nasty crash during free practice. He is currently in pain with his neck. He will sit out of todays GP however we are unsure as to whether he will be competing at upcoming rounds.
