Last night the Michelin MX Nationals UK team announced some big changes for the 2021 season in terms of classes, live streaming, tracks, dates and more. Find out all the information you need to know below.

2021 Points (Taken from the Video)

  • MX Nationals are always looking to improve and progress. We want quality over quantity. That’s why we have reduced the number of races and groups moving forwards.
  • Live Streaming will be back in 2021 for all rounds and guess what its going to be FREE!
  • The format changes will see the below classes run for 2021:
    • Open 85cc Championship
    • Youth MXY1/2 Championship
    • Clubmen MX1/MX2 Championship
    • Amateur MX1/MX2 Championship
    • Expert MX1
    • Expert MX2
    • Fastest 40
  • The Fastest 40 will remain and race on the Sunday, however the Pros will now race on the Saturday also alongside the Expert riders. The Expert riders get a chance to race with the pros to gauge where there are at and how this will be is they will take 20 from each class and have the Expert/Pro MX1 race and Expert/Pro MX2 race on Saturday.
  • Tracks which are being looked at and not confirmed for 2021 are Canada Heights, Desertmartin, Landrake, Hawkstone.
  • The Straight Rhythm will be back once next year for the third year.
