Calvin Vlaanderen has been a contender for the Dutch Masters of Motocross title for years. In 2022, he managed to win the hard-fought title in the MX1 class. He had many duels that year with none other than Glenn Coldenhoff and Brian Bogers.

Vlaanderen has not only been strong in the Dutch Masters of Motocross in recent years, but has also been good in the MXGP world championship. He won the Sardinian Grand Prix in 2022 and finished on the podium in Lommel. Last year he took a moto win in the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic as well. In 2023, he finished a strong sixth in the final standings of the MXGP World Championship. These results allowed him to make the switch from the Gebben van Venrooy Racing team to the official factory Yamaha team, where he will ride alongside Maxime Renaux and Jago Geerts this year.

Vlaanderen has confirmed his participation in the Dutch Masters of Motocross Championship and will compete against Jeffrey Herlings, among others. The 2022 champion against the 2023 champion, it doesn’t get any better than that!

The organization of the Dutch Masters of Motocross is in full preparation for the new season and will soon announce the newly committed riders.
