Round 4 of the 2017 AMA Pro Motocross Championship is on Saturday at High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, PA, and, for Monster Energy/Yamalube/Chaparral/Yamaha Financial Services/Yamaha Factory Racing Team rider Cooper Webb, he’s excited to be racing out East and not far from his home in North Carolina.

Cooper, who dug deep during the second moto in Colorado two weeks ago, found something in himself and in his #2 Yamaha YZ450F, and ran a personal-best, fastest lap on the very last lap to finish fourth. He is ready to keep his resurgence going this weekend.

“It’s been a productive week off from the series,” Cooper said. “I’ve made a lot of progress on the East Coast, and it feels good to be over here riding this type of dirt again. I’m looking to build some momentum after my strong second-moto performance at Colorado and continue that this weekend at High Point. This weekend should be awesome!”
