Rounds two and three of the St Blazey Premier MX were held at the popular southern circuit of Little Silver on Saturday 26thand Sunday 27thMay. Both rounds we saw Josh Greedy, Ashley Greedy, Darren Banwell, Chris Brown, Leigh Williams and Adam Harris take overall honours in their classes.
In the Junior class on Saturday there were some great battles throughout the pack and some very close racing with the front runners Josh Greedy who finished with the overall, Ross Kersey in second, Bill Farleigh in third, with Harry Day and Calum Priddle rounding up the top five. Sunday saw some changes to the circuit some overnight rain however proved to be superb for the circuit for the final days of racing. Finishing in the top five for Sunday was Josh Greedy, Ross Kersey, Thomas Andrew, Harry Day and Calum Priddle.
In the Two Stroke Class for both days we saw some good racing from all riders. Adam Harris completed both days with both round overall wins and continuing a strong lead in the Two Stroke Championship. Saturday saw Adam Harris, Callum Gasson, Zoe Deacon, James Kensington and Callum Ford round at the top five in the Two Stroke overall results. With a new day and the third round the two-stroke top five finished with Adam Harris, James Kensington, Luke Oldfield, Callum Gasson and Daniel Harris.
In the Overs class where there is the Over 35, Over 40 and Over 50 Championships, there were some close battles. Darren Banwell took the top spot in all six motos for the Over 35’s, with Time Pearce and Leigh Brean rounding out the top three for the Over 35’s. In the Over 40’s it was Leigh Williams taking the overall spot for Round 2 with Dean Davies, Robert Topp, Anthony Worwood and Ben Rose rounding up the top five. Sunday for Round 2 saw a slight change in the overall with Leigh Williams in first, Robert Topp taking second and Dean Davies and Anthony Worwood taking third and fourth spot. In the Over 50 class it was Chris Brown and Rob Lewis who took the first and second spot in the class.
There was no stopping Ashley Greedy in the Expert class across both days of racing at Little Silver. Greedy walked away with all six moto wins and crowned round two and three champion. Saturday saw Tommy Alba, Adam Harris, Luke Hawkins and Kelvin Townsend take second to five spots on the podium and Sunday saw Adam Harris take second overall. Sion Talbot, Jake Curtis-Stevens and Aiden Williams finished the day with the remaining top five positions.
