Well after 21 years of GP racing the #22 rider Kevin Strijbos has announced his retirement from the sport. We wish Kevin the best of luck for the future. Check out his announcement below.

After 21 years of racing GP’s, it is time to say goodbye to the greatest sport on earth. It has been a long road with up’s and down’s but i can be happy with what i have achieved. I met great people along the way, made friends for life, rode for the best teams, had awsome fans and sponsors. Im so thankfull for everything i learned and what the sport has giving me. Its now time for a new chapter in life. I wanna thank every single person who helped me in any way to achieve my dreams, starting from when i was a 3 year old kid who started riding untill now, 33 years later. Tomorrow will be the last @mxgp gate drop, so lets enjoy it!!
